By late afternoon, we have covered all our planned spot, so we decided to go back to Kagoshima. Above is the view from the ferry as we sailed away from it. Thank you for not erupting while we were there!
On our way back, the husband went and bought a bowl of udon from the noodle shop on the ferry. It wasn't that expensive, and it tasted like any delicious udon would. We shared a bowl together and it was awesome. Thank's for the experience!
Here's the husband with his udon on the eating area of the ferry. Drinks are free and self service. The udon does make a nice snack as we sail back to Kagoshima.
We walked back to our hotel area from the ferry terminal, and decided to have dinner at a retro restaurant near the polar bear shaved ice place. The husband ordered some pork chop.
And I of course went with the steak. It wasn't a fantastic meal, but it was filling and affordable in a nice quiet environment. Actually, once we move out of Fukuoka area, Kyushu is pretty nice to walk around in. It wasn't crowded with tourist, and it was very relaxing to move around. Stop going to Tokyo! I haven't been there since..... I don't know when! The last time was during my Hokkaido trip where I just transit there, so I guess that doesn't count!
Our night time drink while resting for the night at our hotel :) It was such a lovely day whenever I get to spend it outdoor in nature walking or hiking, no matter which country I am at. I realised that I always feel happiest hiking :)
