Sapporo Beer Museum - Snowing in the Day

From this entry onwards, the sequence of events are kinda blurred due to snow storms and adjustments of plans. For this post, I'm gonna show you just how much snow we encountered in Sapporo. So this is like the 2 day in Sapporo, and the city was covered in thick layer of snow. I decided that beer would be a good way to keep ourselves warm, and beer museum is an indoor activity. So we headed there via a loop bus service. Above is the famous Sapporo Beer Museum with barrels of beer decorated outside the main building.

Above is the bus that goes there. It is a loop service bus which you can take from Sapporo area, and it also goes to big malls like the Factory Outlet etc. As you can see, the bus drop us slightly off from the museum, and we actually had to cross the road and walk in towards the museum.

Right before going into the museum path, there is a small shrine which we visited to pay respect. As you can see, it is fully covered in snow! And since it was very cold, we didn't stay long! In fact, I was freezing, and snow was still showering us. Everywhere I went that day, my bag accurate chunks of snow and ice. I have to deposit them outside each building I enter with a "thud" sound. Snow is heavy!

Pass the shrine and walking towards the museum, you could almost see nothing but more snow!

All the trees were covered in it, which makes for a beautiful winter photo shot! I believe this is the most snow I've ever seen in my life!

Finally, the main building is visible. And you can go in and pay a visit and learn all about Sapporo Beer! I'll show you what the inside look like in the next post.

Above are some Christmas trees all covered in snow. It looks like some Christmas movie scene! These trees are totally transformed during night time too! And since we tend to stay at a single place for a long period of time to save on the transport fare, you will be getting to see these trees light-up in a next few post!

And lastly, here is a window view from inside of the museum looking out. This is the ground floor of the museum, and as you can see, 75% of the window is covered in height by accumulative snow outside!
