Continue-ing on the first exhibition, I also wanted to state that you will see a lot of door plates like this one in the photo here. I took a photo of almost all the halls I went in so that I know where I've been. That way I could trace my path as I do have a map of all the halls in the Forbidden City, lol. Plus, I think it's so cool that each place has a unique name. Compare that to door numbers, the current era of naming is so boring and unimaginable!
My other obsession here in China, was dragons! And since we were at the emperor's home, there were a lot of dragons everywhere! So ceramic art with dragon was cool and common! Dragon is the symbol of the emperor! So here is a red one on the photo at the top.
And a green one.

Another cool red one.
Blue one.

I also realised before I left that there were a cluster of super cool precious vase being displayed just at the entrance. So I went around to admire all of them again and decided to take a photo of each and everywhere one there. Hey, this is my blog, so if I want to use it to keep a record of all the ceramic pieces I love, so be it! I love looking at them. These are art! Enjoy! I'll stop writing now.

The one above was kinda cute. Look at the sweet window in the middle of the vase! I did thought to myself, how were all these vase gonna hold any water with so many holds in there. Well, actually, you could put a smaller vase inside, or some of them comes with a smaller water-proof vase inside for practical use. The outside decoration was purely for decorative purposes. And boy did they do such a wonderful job at it. I think we spend almost an hour here! I only have 8 hours inside the palace! We got to get going and be more efficient! But no regrets spending time here. The pieces were just beautiful!
