Korea 2024 - Seoul Breakfast and Snacks

First hotel breakfast back in Seoul. We've paid only for two breakfast, so this was our first one. I mainly loaded up on meat and vegetables, soup, and seaweed! I love those seaweed packets! Oh and they have cold somen noodles! I love those!

After breakfast we took a walk around the area in daylight. Abbove is one of the famous mural of Seoul. I read about it before I came here, and wasn't expecting to see it. So when I spotted it across the read, it just made me felt lucky :)

I also like taking photos of the cute LINE friends or Kakao friends poster all over Korea.

So on this morning, we were headed to Bukchon Hanok Village, a traditional housing area filled with shops and cafe. We were gonna have lunch and tea there. But before lunch, we were allowed to wander around the neighbourhood, and meet back at the restaurant at certain timing.

Here's me in front of a traditional cake shop.

It's a traditional rice cake shop, selling royal court day's rice cake!

There were a few varieties to pick from. I expect them to taste just like any asian rice cake or traditional biscuit. But since it says Royal, I just had to support them and try some! Lol.

It tasted pretty decent. I've grown to love red bean paste a lot, especially if they were not loaded with sugar! I love those anko paste from Japan the best. But here, it was not bad.

After snacking, we just walk around the residential area to soak in the atmosphere of the place. More of that in the next entry.
