Our first tour activity in Busan together started on day 2 there, and it was a walk to Dalmaji Hill to see the cherry blossom. I think we got lost along the way. I think we took some shuttle bus up somewhere along the hills too. But eventually we found it! This wasn't an official paid tour. We were exploring the place at the same time as our Korean teacher! Lol. Why did I took the above photo? I was thinking how nice it would be to have a home and a car like that, with a cherry blossom tree just outside it. It makes a pretty home scene for me.
We went to see cherry blossom, and we saw so many! The whole Dalmaji Hill was filled with them! I want to say Sakura, but for this blog series, I'm just gonna say cherry blossoms, cause the Korean Teacher gets offended when I use Japanese words here :P
My friend's daughter went to get an ice coffee from Ediya, and the cup came back looking so pretty that I borrowed it (and her hand) to take a photo. I like Ediya Coffee, and I even got some back from this trip to enjoy it at home.
After the cherry blossom viewing, we were told to take a taxi to our lunch location. Above is a video of the ride down Dalmaji Hill. It felt like we were in some Korean drama. All we need is some beautiful Korean love song, and maybe some handsome Oppa or two to accompany us! What a dream! Haha.
Four of us shared a cab, and it was a ten minute ride to the restaurant. Above is what the restaurant looked like. I thought it looked rather pretty!
Inside the restaurant, it was huge! Perhaps I've lived in Singapore too long where space is a constraint. Everything seems to look bigger outside of Singapore! I would say the restaurant looked like a canteen!
The menu above just for reference. We didn't have to order anything as our Korean Teacher has already ordered for us.
The food spread was insane! Above is a setting for 4 person to share. It's almost everything, but they still served additional minced meat patty and I think some traditional desserts too. The food was just simply amazing. Not only that, it was healthy as most consist of vegetables. So even though you feel like you're so full after eating everything on the table (yes we ate everything!), you just digest it all after an hour or two and feel light again. Now I know why those Koreans are usually thin. Very healthy diet!
The additional minced meat dish served on top of other dishes cause there were no more space on the table. It tasted like bak-kwa. I'm not a fan.
Me and my husband, with the cherry blossom on Dalmaji Hill :)
