Our small group morning walk started at 7am from the hotel, and I was glad the two ladies that joint me were season walkers. We were able to made it to Dongbaek Island in good time! Lovely sunrise view from coast of Dongbaek.
I was pretty happy to made it to the island. It was one of my to-do thing in Busan, and I was scared I won't be able to do it. So here's a souvenir shot of me there! Yay!
Here are my two walking companions. They are actually sisters. This was the red bridge that I stopped at the day before when it started to get dark. So on this day, we proceed on forward to explore Dongbaek Island! I love coast walk like these! Lovely breath taking view!
On the cliff looking out, we could see cranes standing on the rocks. It reminded me of those black and white Chinese paintings! So simple, so empty, yet so elegant. So taking one photo here, and maybe one day I can paint it!
After walking along the coastal broad walk, we came to the other side of the island where the light house was. What a gorgeous view. We could walk around the light house, as well as some pavilion along the small hill. We didn't climb up the small hill, as there wasn't much to see up there based on my research. We headed towards the other coast of the island instead.
The other coast looked out towards a different area of Busan, with more high rise buildings, and even bridges! The stadium looking building there was some memorial building for APECs or something. It wasn't open to public, but it looked pretty impressive.
Walking down the hills back towards the city, there were some beautiful broad walk surrounded by cherry blossom trees! When the wind blew, it was such a beautiful sight. I took some photos for the companion, but none for myself. It reminded me of those Japanese anime scenes. The first snow. The first sakura petal falling from the tree.....
The other side of Busan. Everything here looks shinning and new and expensive! I think I prefer Busan as compared to Seoul!
