The next morning, after having the same breakfast as the previous day, we checked-out and boarded our private bus headed to Busan! Above is a view leaving Seoul City.
Along the trip, we stopped by a rest station for lunch. But since breakfast was so filling, some of us decided to just have a light snack. So we had some donuts and coffee at Dunkin Donut. Again, I forgo ordering any drinks, but decided to just indulged in the donuts instead.
As our bus near Busan, we started seeing more and more cherry blossom in full bloom along the streets! Most of us got excited at the pretty sight. This was actually my first time seeing so many cherry blossoms in bloom! I've always associated cherry blossom with Japan. It has never occured to me to watch them in any other country before. So in this trip, the 'hanami' experience for me was a big bonus :)
Checking in to our Busan hotel, it felt more like a studio apartment than a hotel. It came with a kitchenette as well! And it was super huge! The hotel was called SunCloud Hotel.
Above is the view from our hotel room looking out. That's Haeundae beach, just right across the road from us! What a great location!
We could also see the other side of Busan where the high rise buildings were at. It very much reminded me of Gold Coast Australia. I just love how blue the color of the sea and sky was on that day!
We went for a walk after checking-in, and this is like the main street of Busan. It's super wide, and best of all, not too crowded! I felt so relief to be here after spending two days in Seoul. This place provided me some space for breather, and a gorgeous beach to run on! My spirit started to pick up!
Just below our hotel were two convenient store. So one of the first purchased I made here was the famous banana milk! It's just something I love drinking whenever I'm in Korea.
Here is a group photo of us on the bus. It was strawberry season, and the strawberry was super huge! One of the student bought some to share with the whole group. I didn't have any as my husband already overfeed me with strawberries the first two days. Compare to Singapore, the prices here was amazing, not to mention the size of the strawberry was as big as my hand! (noted I have super small hands for an adult :P)
