The other area you can get lost in time in, is the diorama room. It was probably the most amazing train diorama I've seen. Above is how big it is. They even have a map of it!
The map shows the train line from Kyoto to Tokyo area, going past all the famous landmark. And what is cool about it, is the diorama plays out the train operation in 24hours timeline. That includes maintenance period where you can see small trains moving about the country line doing their maintenance work.
Above is the night view. The lights are dim. There is even moon and fireworks displayed during the night time! Pretty impressive

There were just so much to see. Now only the land area. You could also lean in and see the displayed of the ocean area! It was a complete miniature world, and it was kinda fun. Reminded me so much of MinNature Museum in Sungai Wang Kuala Lumpur.
And yeah, I can tell people I saw the Nagoya Rock Festival! Hahaha. But words and photos can't relay what videos can. So I'll leave you here with a video I took of the diorama. Enjoy!
