There were also smaller museums inside the castle. Here is the Regimental Museum. I take it that regiments means different troops in the military? It was also information overload, and I didn't take much photos inside the museum. I think it was also a smaller scale museums.
The entrance, walking in I think it was only 2 or 3 stories of very little space.
But what I did like, like all the flags of different schools, were these different logos for different regiments. Someone must have designed these, with some thoughts into it of what the design represents. So I thought those were really nice.
I wander why they call it Dragoon Guards though, with a double 'oo' in the spelling of dragons. Well, wonder no more, here is a link to read more about them! In summary, dragoon is a kind of weapon, which is different from dragon the mystical creature. Ha! Learnt a new word today!
Here is a collection of designs! Love the colour! And so medieval too!
Leaving you with a eagle here to mess up your mind more. And why Waterloo? Well, apparently there are places in England named after the town Waterloo after the British won the battle against the French in Belgium. OMG, I am learning so much history just by writing my blog! Things that I would normally not google, I google them for you! You're welcome!
