Beijing Olympic Torch Protest

This photo was shown in The Straits Times on Saturday 12/Apr/2008. And beneath it was the caption: FACE-OFF: A Tibetan supporter (right) arguing with a Chinese supporter at a rally for the Olympic touch in San Francisco on Wednesday. PM Lee said that the disruptions to the torch relay have aroused intense anti-foreigner feelings in young Chinese.

I just kinda like this photo. The smiling face of the chinese lady with the angry face of an ang-moh. Would you boycott French product? Or boycott the Olympics?

  2. The important thing to Chinese is face. If we boycott Chinese, the Chinese loses face and they will not be happy. No problem could ever be solve through boycotting.
Should sit down with the Chinese, drink some tea, put on a smily face and whisper 'I love you, honey ...!' ...

  4. Chicken and duck talking. The chicken catches no ball, and the duck is on fire.
