Kyushu 2023 - Kagoshima Sakurajima Yogan Nagisa Trail Part 2

As we walked along the trail, the landscaped slowly changes. The beach begin to fade away, and we slowly see jagged edge of rocks around the shores instead.

I saw this cool tower looking thing from afar. I can't really tell whether it was a natural rock formation of man made. But it looked cool AF. Kinda like something you imagine from a fantasy story! And the rocky beach here kinda looked like charcoal instead of rocks. Perhaps the dry branches kinda made the rock seems that way.

We also saw some lone island. It looked kinda rocky, and I wander if anyone lives on it. Can you visit it?

Soon we left the shore lines behind and the trail ventured into the woods. I think I have similar photos of my husband tracking into the woods in almost every travel destination we went to, lol. Mainly it's because I love walking, and since I planned most of the travel destination, there is always some form of getting lost somewhere in the woods, or park, or hills, or mountains, and valleys.....

It was nice walking with the sea on our right, and the woods on our left.

We came across an open space with some resting hut by the side, and the volcano also in sight. But there was no shades here, natural shades at least. The hut looked hot in the sun too. So we just move along with speed here as it was starting to get warm.

Bending the corner of the island, this view looks like some farm or lodging area in the mountains.

From certain angle along the trail, you could still sight the Sakurajima ferry puffing away in the distance.

Here's even two ferries in one photo!

And one of the coolest thing we came across was a secret port filled with yacht and boats! Ok, may they weren't secret per say, but if you didn't walk the trail, you would probably never knew they existed. Plus, it was kind of a secluded bay area where all the boats were docking at. It reminded me of some mediterranean landscape of some luxury holiday spot. This was found nearer the end of our trail. After that we took the bus back to the bus terminal.
